Leafs blow a again
what else is new? the leafs missed the playoffs again. there was some hope with the devils scoring with 0.8 seconds left. but they had to fuck it up in the shootout. this fucking blows. my only consolation is that the last time they missed the playoffs two years in a row they made it to the conference finals. maybe they can pull that out again next year. the only way tho is if they trade raycroft for a decent scorer and get a new goalie.

You offer the idea of trading Raycroft for a scorer...then just assume the Leafs will pull a new goalie out of their ass. You mean sign one? Yeah...that worked out well last year. That's how they ended up with Raycroft. They don't need another scorer...they need someone who will play some fucking defence. Enough defence so that whoever their shitty goalie is, can try and pull out a win for once even though he faces half the shots as a normal 'tender. They were in the top 5 in the league for shots produced. Their offence is not their biggest problem there, okay Lamoriello?
