4-Way Clusterfuck

I've been sitting on this one for a while and I have finally seen enough. Why is it that at every 4-way stop people lose all knowledge of the road and just do whatever they want? 4-way stops were designed to control intersections, not just drive through because you have a big truck or a nice car.

When you come to a 4-way its not too difficult to understand the rules or rule which is primarily: Wait your fucking turn. You do not follow the person in front of you through the intersection. You do not pull up, tap your brakes, then continue. You do not try to turn when there is a car in front of you and then give the driver a dirty look. Asshole. I swear people are complete fucktards. Just once I would like to come to a 4-way stop and have people drive normally.

The other issue is when people do not know when it is their turn to go. Its not that hard to figure out. First person to get there goes. If 2 people get there at the same time, the person to the right goes, hence right-of-way. Just once I would like to go through a 4-way stop without the urge to kill the person in front of me. Fuck I hate people.

I'm going to sound like a retard here, but can someone explain the "person on the right goes" thing? If two people are on the same street going opposite directions, who's on the right?

Jesus Christ. It's pretty fucking simple. Your car is on the other driver's left, their car is on your left. Only one car can go first. Two plus one is three. Three lefts make a right.

Do I have to fucking wipe your ass while I'm at it?

Marc, it's because of man's will to power. Nietzsche really elaborates on it, if you want to check that up.

Man's drive for power is the primary drive in human behaviour. Living in itself appears only as a subsidiary aim — something necessary to promote one's power. Everyone wants power. It's pretty apparent in everything in we do, and is the best possible explanation for human behaviour. Martyrs willingly die for a cause if they feel that associating themselves with that cause gives them greater power. An Indian mystic who submits himself to all sorts of physical deprivation gains profound self-control and spiritual depth, representing a more refined form of power. Why do you think Mother Theresa worked so hard for the poor? It made her feel powerful to do those things, it gave her power over the poor.

When people pull up to a stop sign at the same time as someone else, they submit to that person if they allow them to go first. When someone follows someone through a stop sign, it's because they feel they are better than you, and brazenly ignoring the set rules makes them feel power over the state.

OR PERHAPS IT'S MORE IN LINE WITH PLATO'S DUALISM....OR DESCARTES' GOOD SOUL.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
